I've been wrestling with this one for months. I have two boxes with Windows XP Pro. Both have SQL Server 2005 Developer sp 1 and vfp9 sp1. As far as I can tell they have the same version of VFEOLEDB provider ( but I suspect that is the difference.) One box can do SSIS imports from VFP DBCs. The other gets the error you show. I suspect it has something to do with the vfeoledb provider as SSIS from other SQL databases works fine on the box that can't do fox.
Both boxes have IIS so I am now going to try stopping the server and stopping sql server before uninstalling and reinstalling vfeoledb.dll.
Please share any solution you find and I will do the same.

Half the harm that is done in this world is due to people who want to feel important. They don't mean to do harm-- but the harm does not interest them. Or they do not see it, or they justify it because they are absorbed in the endless struggle to think well of themselves.

Democracy is two wolves and a sheep voting on what to have for lunch.
Liberty is a well-armed sheep contesting the vote.
