i don't know if it is possible for you to do but i got rid of norton last week when the subscription was up and replaced it with avg. my machine runs so much faster now, in every sence and several problems i was having have also gone. norton was making a copy of every email i got into outlook and leaving then on my c drive. my recycle bin always had file in it but i could not see them. office in particular opens much more quickly and the machine in general is faster.
