Sounds like just the thing to implement in the project hooks in VFP 6.0. Projects hooks are object references to projects and will allow you to do all kinds of really cool things. I think you'll see LOTS of uses for them. The first thing I thought of was a message box that gets displayed when I open a project and have it ask me if I want to make the project directory my default directory.
