>Chatter's pretty boring today - what, with Terry gone and all - and I doubt I will liven it up any, but I am curious what other things you might be doing if not for coding. Not what you want to do, but what else are you good at?

This IS my second occupation. My primary was teaching math.
Which I may still do, but not math - maybe teaching something programming related.
I learned to play accordeon as a kid, but didn't like the kind of music which exists for it (read: 0.001% of rock is played on it).
I'd like to be an interpreter. Translating for newspapers would be fine, or at conferences, or even for tourists. Not sure that the other languages I speak would get me far, though :).
If everything else fails, I could do fixing things. Considering the amount of work we did on the house, I've learned it all - mounting doors, replacing walls, carpeting, plumbing (just read
http://ndragan.com/pv/WaterHeater.html, you'll understand :), some wiring, tiling, painting... and this is only our second house.
