Well, if I'd stuck to it, I might have been good enough, but I didn't, so I guess it's a moot point. The same with baseball. I was good enough for a tryout with (dating myself here) the Milwaukee Braves, but not quite good enough to make it. Again, had I played diligently through little league, then probably, but I skipped little league and only started to play seriously when I was about 19. I just didn't develop my skills enough for enough years. But damn! I was close.
In all honesty, I don't know what I'd be doing if not for this. I switched from being a national department manager in a reinsurance company to software development, so realistically, I'm afraid that had it not been for computers, I'd probably still be in the reinsurance business (shudder). Comfortable and unhappy.

>>I probably would have kept up with my trumpet, but I haven't picked it up in probably 20 years now, so I'm sure if I tried again, I'd hurt myself pretty badly.

>>Other than that, I'd love to get a job with either Serta or Sealy testing matresses. I'd be willing to take the graveyard shift.
