The problem on "the big side" lies more in the 2 gig barrier - the selects are often grazing that border in no-operator involved datacrunchiung scenarios. Since there is no multi-user input, such handling I consider tailor-made for dbf use, but if the size thing makes to much effort partioning the structures we will move the whole operation to db2, as that is the preferred backend by the customer if we have to switch. Would be a shame, but SQL server never was an option there, while vfp was.
