I meant your form. There might be code that is triggered by a Valid, LostFocus, Deactivate, Timer or UIEnable event. The messagebox service simulates a messagebox by creating another form. In VFP only one form can be active. If you activate another one (the messagebox), the previously active form (your form) is deactivated. The process of deactivating a form can raise any of these events.
