If you need to do this from a normal form ment for day-to-day use, you have a serious design problem and should reconsider your design. Packing and reindexing should only be done very rarely, typically once or twice per year. In my case I only pack and reindex when we have a new year.

For a maintainance form, be sure not to add any files to the data environment, and add the necessary code to methods which you run by clicking command buttons.
