We used to have corruption (mainly, indices) once every few months. Recently, on an average we have 2 index corruptions a day. We attribute this to network problems - in one place, there is a UTP cable (the standard networking cable) that has at least 130 meters! 100 meters is the
absolute maximum for a single segment of UTP cable; the signal will degrade after that. We hope this will be fixed soon.
