>>Oook you're probably looking at http://www.onlinetvplayer.com/

>>These things are junk for the most part. All these video streams that they have in their apps, you can find for free yourself...all they've done is compile as list of the addresses of the video streams. These streams are free anyway - and unless you wanna watch stuff like the public town meeting for city xyz, its worthless. The cSpan channels and the NASA channels will be the highlights...haha...and like I said you can find all these for free anyway.

>>Now if you're trying to watch like ABC, NBC, CBS and stuff like that there are other things you can do. For example, if you have a tv tuner card in your PC, you can get something like ORB www.orb.com - and its free too - that's I what I use. Pretty slick cause it works with my PDA/Cell Phone too. If it's trying to avoid having to pay for the cableTV in the 1st place, then the task becomes a tad more dificult. The only thing even close that seems to do much is this: http://www.tvunetworks.com/index.htm - and its from China and I'm sure that the broadcast streams are probably priated.

>Thank you so much for sharing your experience.

The computer has to have a TV tuner....and you need a pretty powerfull pc to run it too...(2.4Ghz & 512mb)

...really worth it for me though...anywhere I have a browser I can watch live tv.
