Believe it or not, I read most of it (skipping some of the quotes in the middle, where he mostly re-tells what I already knew), and I don't see this article as anything but "you can't claim you haven't known". Even the monotonous prefixing of anyone involved as "left-wing" (as if it automatically paints them as traitors, which it naturally does not), I think the author simply wrote such a lengthy thing because he felt it deserves that much attention.
