The link I gave seemed to fulfill the requirements of your first post (and I'm still not clear on why it wouldn't be suitable).

AFAIK, as Rick states, there's no easy way to do this purely with client side code.

>Thanx! Viv for the info... but because of the structure of our pages we can only use the FileUpload object for selecting the files. We can not use it for uploading. We are actually looking for a script that we can use to programmatically specify the file the will be uploaded.
