>I have created a utility for executing Report Manager ActiveX. The main application calls this VFP util exe and the report is run. In the case the report is taking long to generate and the user navigates to other windows and back to the main vfp app, this report screen from the ActiveX (VFP messagebox in case of error) is hidden behind the main VFP app window.

If so I don't want to have the problems in the ActiveX to disrupt the main app. Problems with the ActiveX imbedded in the main exe was the reason I spun it off into a seperate exe, so if a child process behaves just like it has been imbedded in the main exe, then it is not a solution which will be practical.
