Hi all,

Using views in forms is a limited phenomenon for me, as I have in the past gotten used to physically creating a custom dataenvironment on the form itself.

I have recently created a two-table view for use on a form grid. But I am encountering the following errors:

1. Data is accepted by the grid, but not physically updated by the table.
2. An odd carry-forward of data comes through with unrelated or past data making irrelevant appearances on the grid.
3.Data disappears on starting the form again, since, and as I said earlier, does not exist on the table

Physical data entry into a raw view is possible...

This has obviously to do with some buffering or update criteria, which I am not familiar with.

Any help will be greatly appreciated.
