hat is absolutely silly (even stupid). hat you are saying is that you have given this person control even of where you work - even though you have the best boss in the world.

Do you say s/he's the 'best boss in the world' in hopes of them reading this and resolving the issue? If so, then ask them to fix it, and if they say no then live with it. Giving a co-worker control over your life (depressed, etc) is NEVER a sensible idea. Period.
