Yes. I generally like WSH and sometimes use it over Windows API, but beware of a few WSH problems:

1) They require the proper WSH object to be installed in the client machine.
2) Some companies are afraid of scripting language vulnerabilities and ban the use of WSH as a result.

In these case you have to resot to Windows API instead.
