It's great to finally see another Aussie using MM.NET and posting in this forums.

As a general rule i find the MM.NET Developers Guide supplied by Kevin in an excellent resource for MM.NET and .NET in general.

Check out the "Setting Default Values in New Row" section within the "Data Access with Business Objects" on this guide. This should get you started.
