Bill,

>Thanks but that did not work. I want to sub-class the maintenance form and create a new item template. I need to see the base code that I'm sub-classing so I can understand it. Any other ideas on this process ?

To see the code associated with the form, just right-click the form in the Solution Explorer and select View Code from the shortcut menu. Even if you can't view the form at design time, you should always be able to see its code.
