I agree completely. I got accustomed to dual monitors at work and now I cannot live without 2 monitors when developing...

My home machine is also still an old XP, but has 3 Gig of RAM , 3 large HD's and 2 monitors - and is not too slow compared to the shiny new AMD64 machines, as much of the disk work is delegated to RAM. But screen space helps save a lot of development time, as I dont have to click too often to get the next important window on top. REALLY reccommended, even if you are not always on the "bleeding edge".
