Can't find how a backup is being run in a job??

>If so, that is where you can stop it. If it is not there, you can look in the msdb database, in table(s) sysdbmaintplan_databases, sysdbmaintplans, and sysjobs. Sysjobs contains information on all of the jobs, not just maintenance plans, so if you have any replications, log-shipping, etc., they will show up in there as well. Be careful in here (duh!). It is always a good idea to back things up often, especially before making a change to system tables.

Actually this was being run from Backup Exec where my network admin turned on his personal EM & SQL Agent to generate the job and have the job send the data to tape.
