You do appreciate that this sentiment applies to virtually every person in every country. People are generally proud of and love their homeland. Nothing unique to Americans or America per se. I often see this sentiment and think well so what? The English love England, the Italians love Italy, and I'm sure the Mongolians love Mongolia. Although they may not all be over the moon with their current governments <g>
