Why not? I would like to know why you don´t want to do this.
Check these links, basically you use URLDownloadToFile and DeleteUrlCacheEntry Functions to obtain a file with your ip. Use the page you like most, then use FileToStr(), then VFP string functions to extract the IP if needed.
