Hi Virusim,

We are doing the same thing you are. We are converting a Clipper 5.2 application to VFP. During the process though the Clipper application has to keep working. We therefore access everything as a free table or view from VFP without any problems so far.

What RDD are you using to create the CDX's from Clipper? We are using the Comix driver and I can do what you are trying to do, namely, create an index in VFP and then access the file (including the index) from Clipper.

Maybe if you could give more specifics I could help.
