>I just started using the Wang controls as well - I originally had problems with the ImageScan control, it scanned OK but when I quit windows it crashed my system and I had to do a cold reboot. The problem was solved when I reinstalled the original (older version) TWAIN drivers that came with the control. I'm currently playing around with the ImageEdit and the Admin controls, loading, displaying and zooming the above scanned images - I don't seem to have any problems with these controls so far. What kind of problems are you experiencing?

I too have had problems with the WANG controls. The standard edition that ships with OSR2 and NT is good but it does not contain OCR capability. Belieive it or not the most stable combination of WANG products (IMHO) is to install the professional edition ($89.00) and then install the free version on top of it. This has proven to be stable enough for production applications. If you want some source code samples let me know.
