The good old days! Now there are too many flat land foreigners who moved to California, and changed all of that ! :)

He looked like most Californians back then - slightly crazed and happy - and gave us a ride from SF to Stinson Beach. On the way we asked him what he did and he said he was a farmer. He told us to look in the paper grocery bag on the floor at our feet and it was filled with buds (if you have to ask, I'm not telling). He told us to take a couple handfuls "...welcome to California and enjoy yourselves!" Another guy gave us a bottle of wine, and yet another couple gave us some Old Granddad. I loved California back then... <s>

>>You see, the bridge toll for automobiles supports the commuter busses and ferries, the later of which is a real money looser. But in all fairness to the ferries and those who ride them from Marin County to San Francisco, that is such a great way to travel! You can get stoned going to and from work while you laugh at the clowns in his/her cars.
