The thought of the shortcut being disabled crossed my mind as soon as I hit the REPLY button. As far as it beign a .dll or API, I don't know that either. (API stuff is a weak point of mine). The Keyboard buffer is easy to use though, check the foxpro help for syntax. Perhaps the click event of the command button could 1) make the form modeless, 2) do the keyboard command, then 3) immediately make the form modal again.
