I wouldn't disagree with the idea that some things that the allies did in WWII where wrong. But the overall view I think is that the Allies where the good guys and the Axis powers the bad guys.
Also we can't judge some of these actions from our current perspective. WWII was total war not a limited conflict and the object would be to end it as soon as possible. Especially with the Germans ability technically to build long range ballistic missiles. Maybe if the whole thing had dragged on a little longer the first atomic weapon could have been delivered via V3 to New York.
