Metin, I think one needs to differentiate between Good / Bad and good / bad. The Good and the Bad are objective. They are the morals and ethics upon which the ideals of man rest. The good and the bad are part of just being human, of being imperfect. In the case of WWII it was a war between Good and Bad waged by the good and the bad. The Good triumphed mainly by the efforts of the good.

>>The history of Turkey and the Ottoman Empire includes many wars, the conquest of other nations, extermination, murder, pillage, and other atrocities. I would imagine that you agree with all of the events of war and killing that Turkey has committed. That is not an issue but rather the United States is.
>
>I didn't say these words suddenly. Sam said "I know good guys won the war", so I objected this idea.
>
>>The Armenian community does not appreciate your country even to this day! What you did to the Armenian’s will not be forgotten. Nor will your actions in Eastern Europe and Austria be forgotten. You condemn others without admitting that you are less then holy. You neglect the history of your country.
>According to our historians we didn't do that to armenians. I think so we cannot know what is the truth. Because, our histoans and armenian historians cannot be neutral. I think so historians must view Ottomans documents. Because Ottomans history documents are independent written. This is an interesting issue for an empire but, true.
>
>>Turkey said it would attack the Kurds in Northern Iraq if they become independent. How would you feel if that happened? Is Turkey the "good guy"?
>Turkey never said that. Turkey only said "Iraq's integrity must be protected". There are a lot of turks in North Iraq under kurd constraint ( BTW I'm a %50 kurd).
>
>>You sound like a broken record. Others have suggested that you read about the history of the events you mention. Perhaps you have and your conclusion is what you have expresse
d to us. It may be that all people in Turkey think the way that you do. In that case it is hopeless to have dialogue with you on such subjects, as your reality and ours does not agree.
>
>Every country writes history with their'
s viewpoint. I have to give you a sample:
>
>My father-of-law is a Bulgaria immigrated turk. H
e claims ottomans did massacre at Bulgaria. That's formal Bulgaria history. But I claim different, because turkish formal history says "Bulg
ars killed a lot of turkish at "Turkish Liberation War", and ottomans never did massacre.
>Which is true? We cannot know.
In the End, we will remember not the words of our enemies, but the silence of our friends - Martin Luther King, Jr.
