I decided on the Latitude CP, even though I started out looking at the Inspiron. One of my main reasons for the CP is that the Latitude has on-site--anywhere in the country--service, and the Inspiron has to go back to Dell for service.

There were also some support issues, though I'm running '95 on the laptop, so NT wasn't an issue.

Basically, if it was purely for personal use, I'd of gone with the Inspiron.
