Thanks for the info. I've downloaded Atlas and am playing around with that. I can make user see only one of the web parts get updated so it looks right, but behind the scenes, the data is still being queried for both controls. Not quite what I'm after. All this web crap ;) is still too new to me. I'd much rather be writing Windows apps.
