I figure that if he's the one on that side of the aisle, there are several here on the other :).
My impression, though, is that he only suffers from a short fuse, or a loose adrenalin valve. So he doesn't exactly wrap his attitude into any soft clothes, he just says it the way he thinks, and the way he'd speak with his neighbors.
I've noticed that while many times I agree with what he said, I'd simply never say it the way he did. Probably because I already know what the reaction will be. May be that I was already shot at as a messenger, can't really remember all these years of dispute. If that is the case, then I'm of no more use as a messenger - I may not say what they want me to say, but I've already begun omitting what they don't want to hear.
