IMO he caught a moment of moondust and hasn't caught it again since. Unsolicited career advice: sign up for a genre piece, no supernaturalism, a police procedural or something like that. Show us you can make an entertaining movie without working that same old itchy tooth.

I thought it was better than anything else he has made since "The Sixth Sense", but that is damning with faint praise.

Now I am ready for a fun, dumb summer movie. This can only mean one thing: "Snakes on a Plane".
