>I've found that wav files, whether included in the project or not, will not be found by SET BELL unless the full path to the wav file is there. I don't include wav files in the project anymore and issue LOCFILE() to get the full path to the wav file for SET BELL.

I was hoping to find someone would know a way of being able to obtain the contents of a file (any file) that was known to be a part of the project. The next step would be to get SET BELL to play it. Or perhaps to get a sound player OCX to do it.
The LOCFILE() method is similar to having (as I do) a variable that permanently holds the path to the WAV file folder. But I don't want a WAV file folder!
I don't need a bitmap folder to show pictures.
