>Do you ever wonder we do any of this? It’s all just for money to support our lives. Almost everyone everywhere is simply doing crap they don’t like, don’t care about, and doesn’t do a damn thing for anyone. We work simply because we have to. From the largest companies, to the lowest paid individual, we are all just part of a big, rolling machine that slowly moves on, inch-by-inch, penny-by-penny. There’s one guy in India who doesn’t have to work and has everything he needs or desires. His name’s Fred, I think.

What you saying CL? we should all just slit open our bellies in a collective suppuku (not a number puzzle)?
Your company might be pointless - getting "benefits" to executives. Most jobs are created due to inventions of things we need or don't need, but are nice to have. I suppose in my job I'm a typical "non-producer" (like most the western world) but my work involves transport planning (mainly buses) and pensioner concessions. Without buses I wouldn't have this job; do we need busses? Maybe it's a measure of how useful/necessary/beneficial to society your job is that determines your feeling of pointlessness. But, yes, it's mainly just make-work that we do. :-)

- Worry is the interest you pay, in advance, for a loan that you may never need to take out.
