Do you have any sort of group that you participate in? I think we get the most joy out of life when we are part of a community of people where we can invest in them. It may seem backwards, but most people throw a pity party when they are down - when actually what you should do is give of yourself - it is an instant pick-me-up. If you have a friend that needs something done at their house, or someone you can call and encourage, you will get a lift from it.

Giving an encouraging word to someone or giving a little of your time. Or even giving your money or talents in some way will bless you.
