See "SQL WHERE clause" option in "Update Criteria" page. What the settings are there?
Also, try to uncheck "Precompile SQL on backend server" in Advanced options

The code is extremely straight forward and there is no way that the base data is getting changed underneath me. Even when I don't change any fields at all in the view it still gives an update conflict. Any ideas on this one?
