I come by it honestly. <s> My great-grandfather taught blacks in Richmond how to read. My great-grandmother was a secretary to Carrie Chapman Catt. My father tells stories about removing the "white" and "colored" signs from the restrooms at M.D. Anderson Hospital when he was a post-doc there in the late '50's, and along with a friend, deciding the integrate the cafeteria there. I could go on, but you get the picture.
