I had an odd error that popped up but did not interfere with the program execution, "ALIAS something NOT FOUND." However, after clicking OK, the program would resume. I was unable to trap it.

I tracked it down to a FOR clause in the index expression that included the table alias. When the table was opened using a different alias and the index tag engaged, the warning would appear but not halt the progra or show the line where the problem occurred. It was a bit of a booger to track down.

I want to build a program to scan many index files for occurrances of FOR clauses incorporating alias names ... I am able to programmatically read the CDX tag and key, using TAG() and KEY(), but how can I determine the FOR clause?
