Hmmm, not a typical requirement/use that I've come across. Wouldn't really know without experimenting myself.

3 possibilities spring to mind:

1. embolden the source fields where appropriate
2. split the merge fields (and their sources) into sub-fields, with the merge sub-field emboldened
3. try inserting the ASCII for CTRL-B in the source data, butr you mi's well just do 1. above as that.

>Lucky for me! One more question if you don't mind. I create a lot of mailmerge docs driven from VFP and I'd love to be able to make part of a given merge field bold, perhaps by embedding escape chars in the data file or something of that sort. Any ideas?

I see them in Print Preview and printing, but I can't see newly inserted images or images in previously existing documents. I assume that I somehow touched something without noticing and I can't find the magic setting to save my life.
