Hi Rox - long time no etc etc...

I've had things like this a few times. Good that you found it.

Last time I had a problem with prerequisites, it was solved by finding the directories for each one of them on the install dvd, and running their own setups (the mdac 4 and what was the other one, something xml IIRC). Then I ran the regular setup and it found the prerequisites were installed and was as happy as the little monkey (when big monkey isn't at home) and went on with the install.
