No, our army don't use these rifles really.

Umm.. I have to confess...

Actually in Turkey men have to do 15 months military service. But sometimes our government let us "if you older ... years and you pay some money to army you can do military service just one month".

I did it. They didn't see us real soldiers. But anyone serve in army must shoot with rifle 8 seconds. So they gived us these wooden rifles.

Whenever I talk about military service my wife says with a derisive expression "Shut up, wooden rifled soldier." (Her brother was lieutenant commando when he was a soldier) .
