Actually, when I left the government job, I was earning 8 hours every 2 weeks or 208 hours a year in paid time off. On top of that I earned 3 hours every 2 weeks for sick time off. Both could roll over (about 1/4th of that). Don't know why I left now... :o)

>Essentially I get 5 per year and had to "buy" the extra week. I had no idea that anyone in the US could get so many days' vacation.

>>I get 5 per year, plus I can "buy" an extra one. They take out an amount each paycheck.

>>>There is just something wrong with the idea of a 3 week vacation anyway. Who gets 3 weeks? How do you get 3 weeks all at one time??? And look what happens when you take a 3 week vacation! Your head gets bigger!! :o) *G*
