>I'm concerned about this one. It bothers me from the freedom of speech perspective, however, it had to be done and I support it. That station routinely sends messages over the air to Hezbollah and also advertises fund raising for terrorist organizations. It is basically a pro-terrorist news organization and the news and information are completely pro-terrorist.

>Freedom of speech only goes so far and that has not changed. Don't forget the Espionage Act of 1917 or the Sedition Act and later the Smith Act. You cannot stand on a street corner and advocate subversion and espionage against the U.S. Pornagraphy, obscene language, slander, and libel are illegal as well.

I have always been an advocate for Freedom of Speech and against censorship. I have to agree with you and Dan on this one as it is warranted. You are entirely correct in your explanation. You cannot also yell "Fire!" as you know, just for fun.

This, and the story of the guy that fell into a vat of chocolate last month (there was a piece on it this morning in NPR) reminds us of the Smothers Brothers skit of the time Tom fell into a vat of chocolate and yellled "Fire!". His brother asked him why did he yell "Fire!"?. "Because nobody would come to the rescue if I yelled Chocolate!!".
