There's no difference between login in and checking username/password from security point of view.

The below code will work for me, however, if I enter junk 3 times it will lock the ad account. I would like to just validate but not get access. We basically want to maintain usernames, passwords, and group memberships in active directory and then check it from VFP. I can do that, but if I fail to login 3 times I don't want the account locked. See, the workstation is already provided the necessary security permissions. I know, crazy... Any ideas?
