Alternatively, I have not run up against this problem. This caught my attention so I installed my app on a W2003 Server box and it worked fine. One thing the program does is run a batch file that calls regsvr32 to register all the DLLs (including XiCr50.dll) if it detects that some DLLs are not registered. This always happens the very first time the app starts up.
