we did this recently and used this product.

the one we used was the basic epad. it connects through USB and the only problem we had was that the drivers on the supplied were old so we downloaded the newest ones from the site and it worked perfectly. adding it into an app, VFP8, was easy. initialise it with

epad1 = NEWOBJECT("esW25COM.escapture")

and then call the signing screen with

delivery_signature = epad1.StartSign

this second line calls up a screen using the epad's own software and it takes care of the rest. if you need to know more let me know.
