McAfee have had some classic stuff ups with new versions over the years, I dropped them after the machine trashing update back in 2002.
Have a look at Trend Micro's or Computer Associates offerings.

Ironically, I went with McAfee in 2004 because of huge problems with Norton. McAfee has worked like a charm until now. I'm usually pretty understanding about software bugs that are highly specific and isolated - but not working with VS2005 web projects is a major oversight, IMO.

Isn't CA's that application called EzTrust or something like that? I had a friend who used CA and said it worked fine for him. I'll check them out, thanks.
