We had similar problem especially when Office shortcutbar is on. I had a funny solution maybe helps to you too. In form init create a dummy cursor with a gen field and put a bmp with higher resolution in it. Add that gen field to form, cover with a shape (so not visible - and I used about 5-10% of original size).
