I tried your code here and had no problems. Maybe use an _screen.paint to fix the white spot? I've noticed that a white area is left behond for a moment when I drag windows around the screen but it looks more like a "shadow" than anything. I would guess it's related to video drivers too, not being able to reproduce it here...
