Thomas - according to the docs, httpconnect supports https.

httpconnect(lcServer, lcUsername, lcPassword, llHTTPS)

And per Rick's comment on the msgboard, the higher level 'httpget' supports https.

If you use HttpGet() you can just use an Https url, too.
